Palisades MX News

-The 4 wheel boys of PMX raced Sleepy Hollow on the 6th, but had some bad luck and neither Aaron or Josh qualified.  Aaron was plagued with a stuck gate in his qualifier, and Bender crashed in the double double section and was finished after that.

The team also raced at Flying Dutchmen on the 7th.  In the 4 wheel open B class, Aaron finished 6th in moto 1 and 2nd in moto 2 for 4th overall. Bender lived up to his name by breaking the frame on his 250R in the second moto.  Chris McCauley walked away from an insane crash on the start straight that left his machine completely destroyed.  We hope Chris is OK and gets his Honda rolling again to join us at the races soon.

In 2 wheel action, Bret raced the 125 B class as well as Collegeboy on the 450F.  He went 12-9 out of 17n in collegeboy and finished 10th in moto 1 on the 250F.  A tangle up with Ray Garges in moto 2 left Bret towards the back of the pack, but a good battle was still persued with Garges, and Bret finished in front of Ray.  Overall it was a good weekend of racing and everybody's looking forward to the next Dutchmen round.

-The track crew at FDMC built a crazy insane double that was so dangerous it was protested by many at the riders meeting.  Eventually a line was made around the jump so that those who didn't want to jump it didn't have to.  Hopefully they get that fixed before the next round or heads will be rolling...

Industry News
Ricky Carmichael wrapped up the AMA Supercross class title in Vegas Saturday night.  Stewart won the world sx title, and finished 2nd in the AMA championship followed by Chad Reed.  Andrew Short redeemed himself by winning the SX Lites east/west shootout.  RC announced that this will be his last season racing full time, and he has signed a multi-year contract with Suzuki to race select supercross and motocross races in the coming years.  Congratulations to RC and Bubba on their championships.
